Beginner Hypertrophy Programs

Hypertrophy has one single goal - muscle size. For guys you'll gain a great deal over time, guys have more testosterone than girls which is why girls WON'T get bulky from doing weight training. In fact they will stay looking lean and only after years of weight training will a girl look noticably muscular.
 

Rep/set types:
8-12 Reps with moderate weight using a controled motion
12-15 Reps to work the muscle in a slightly different way


You will love hypertrophy if:
You would like to look great (guys and girls)
if aesthetics are your primary goal

you want to gain weight and size

you want to get stronger
 

It's not for you if:
Your primary goal is functionality of your muscles
If you don't intend on training like a bodybuilder
